What a show saddle needs to do
In the showing ring, the saddle should be almost invisible. Its job is to sit correctly, present you and your horse well, and absolutely not interfere with the horse's freedom of shoulder and stride.
A show saddle that bridges, sits high at the back, or restricts movement is working against you. Fitting a show saddle is not optional. It is part of your preparation.
Full leather construction for the ring
The Cavaletti show saddle range is made from full leather throughout. The clean, traditional aesthetic of a brown leather show saddle is exactly what show judges expect, and the quality of construction means it presents well without needing months of breaking in.

Adjustable gullet for horses at peak condition
Show horses often carry significant condition and muscle. A horse at peak show fitness will need a different gullet width than the same horse coming back into work after a winter.
Our interchangeable gullet system with six width options means you can adjust the fit as your horse's condition changes, without replacing the saddle. Replacement bars are available.
